🧸 Nido Open Play: Rules & FAQs

👣 Play Area Rules

• Grip socks are required for all children—no exceptions. Available for purchase if needed.

• No shoes allowed in the play area. Please store them in cubbies to avoid tripping hazards.

• No food or drinks allowed inside the play space. All snacks must stay in the café.

• No roughhousing or running. Our space is designed for gentle, imaginative play only.

• If a toy goes in a mouth, please place it in our “Yucky Bucket” so we can sanitize it right away.

• Our staff resets toys regularly, but we appreciate your help keeping play areas tidy.

👶 Age Guidelines

• Our space is designed for children crawling to 5 years old.

• Older siblings are welcome to help younger ones play gently.

• If older siblings stay in the café, no ticket needed.

• If they enter the play area, a $10 Sibling Pass is required.

🧍‍♀️ Supervision & Safety

• This is not a drop-off play space. All children must be directly supervised by a parent or caregiver.

• If your child is playing, you must stay in the play area—not in the café.

• One adult per child is included in admission. Extra adult tickets are $5.

• No weapons of any kind are allowed. Please leave them in your vehicle or return another day.

• See something? Say something.
  We’re located in one of the oldest buildings in Mt. Juliet—which gives our space charm, but also means it has its quirks. If you notice anything that looks off, unsafe, or needs attention, please let our staff know right away. We’re always here and happy to help.

📱 Reservations & Capacity

• While we have capacity for 23 children, we cap open play at 18 kids to ensure everyone has space to play comfortably and safely.

• Because of this, we highly recommend reserving your playtime in advance:

• Even if online shows availability, please keep in mind that walk-ins can fill our space quickly. Reservations guarantee your spot.

🚘 Parking Safety

• We have plenty of parking, but the lot is older and the lines have faded.
  Please pull all the way in and park close to the next car to maximize space.

• Be alert in the parking lot. This is a space for families with little ones—kids may occasionally run ahead of a parent or grandparent. For everyone’s safety, please stay off your phone and drive slowly and attentively while entering, parking, or exiting.

📝 Before You Play

• Waivers must be signed on your account before play. Check your account ahead of time.

🚼 Stroller & Storage

• Limited stroller parking. Please leave strollers in your car when possible.

• Use cubbies for shoes and bags to keep pathways clear.

🎉 Group & Birthday Policies

• Groups of 10 or more require advanced booking and private play sessions.

• No birthday celebrations during open play—this includes:

  • No cake, cupcakes, presents, or candles.

• We offer a Nanny Share Coworking Program for moms and caregivers who need a few focused hours.
